Sound Performances/Installations

1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGlYTBNjzz0 - Beat For Your Life
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LplphnVnPME - Robovox
3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djAmQ5fqYGM Metrics of Mind

The first sound performance given is Beat For Your Life, originally by Daniel Hjorth. This particular piece is performed by Glenn Larsson, a teacher at Music Institute in Hollywood. He is layering 8 rythmic layers (1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 to 8). Robovox, my second link, was produced by Martin B. Bricelj, Slavko Giamocanin, and Uros Veber. This installation is an eight meter tall robot that accepts SMS and converts it into speech. Put in crowded areas, Robovex will speak the annonymous mind. The third sound installation is called, Metrics of Mind. It is a dance piece within a sculptural sound installation created by Amy Cox and sound artist Edo Paulus. The sound creates an erie and mysterious landscape for the kids within the piece.
