Miserable Jeff: The Raster Project

For this project, I titled the piece Miserable Jeff. The place that I chose for this project was the ever-lasting lunch bench of high school. To display a change in time, I used a repeating person, my friend, Jeff, changing from the stages of high school on through the trials of adulthood. The first frame is a collection of pictures overlapped of our friend surrounded by three other high school stereotypes. As the frames progress, the high school friends dwindle until our miserable Jeff is all alone, hardened by the perils and responsibilities of being an adult. For this project, I took multiple pictures of each frame and combined them together in different layers, messing with the opacity of each picture.
